Had a little makeup centric get together with Sharon, a fellow JLS Associate, this past Sunday =) Got to play around and do a before and after on her. It was the first time I tried using false lower eyelashes. I don’t think you could really tell in the picture, but it made a difference in person.
She’s so funny I swear hahaha, love working with her =)
Amy and I were introduced through one of my sorority sisters. Turns out Amy also happens to be a KDPhi =) Long story short: SirvTee and I were looking for models, and she was looking for photoshoot opportunities. It worked out quite nicely for all of us.

Jen was definitely the most upbeat and talkative model we’ve shot thus far. It was a nice because it was our first time attempting a more retro look, who doesn’t like red lips and victory rolls?
I thought it was pretty neat how Jen recently started pursuing modeling, she’s 44 years young, mother of 3, grandmother of 2. She inspired me to take note and remember to “go for it” and “enjoy life”.
Lori was the first model we worked with that brought her bf, Luis, as an escort. They were both sweet and friendly. It was definitely a fun shoot and I can’t believe this was only her second time shooting (her first time being the day before).
We got to try several looks and outfits = lots of images. I’m still going through all the pictures but these were the ones that caught my eye.
This was the first time working with Cathy and she was kind enough to drop by for a before/after. I’m still on the look out for more souls willing to get airbrushed, holla! Hahaha
Since she has a cutesy face, I decided to go with a doll like feel. Cathy was open to stronger makeup, so this is a more bolder version than your typical dolly look.
The first time I worked with Krystal on a shoot with Hundred-Proof, she accidentally left her jacket and shoes in our car. Since we had to meet up again anyway we figured we should do a shoot together. This was our first shoot involving swim wear and cars (SirvTee’s car finally proved good for something haha, resentful much?). It was a lot of fun and I can’t wait to see pics from our second shooter Saret.
It was a challenge to do Ivy and Pam’s makeover because I had to do it mostly in the dark while we were shooting the third person. Perhaps a little more heavy handed than anticiapted but I thought it came out decent given the circumstances.
Once I get back the photos that Claire and Pam shot, I’ll post them. Can’t wait!
Claire and Pam are getting into the professional photography business, so watch out for these two ladies! Oh and by the way, Claire cuts her own hair! How cool is that?
So I finally met up with Pam, who I haven’t seen since high school! I needed to practice airbrushing and she needed to practice photography and lighting, it was a win win situation.
I used a lot of gold shimmer highlighter on the girls, I’m wondering if it reads too shiny on camera…
