I met Emilie while working with Hundred-Proof Photography. She’s engaged to Marco, one of the photographers. Although she hails from Norcal, she was in town for her birthday weekend, so we met up to do her hair/makeup trial.

Since Orawin lives in Norcal and I live in Socal, we decided to meet up in San Luis Obispo (Central Coast) for the trial. By the way, if you ever visit SLO make sure you get some tritip at Firestones and clam chowder from Splash Cafe. Mmm mm, its totally worth the drive.
Anyway, we played around and tried a few different hairstyles that incorporated braids. Here is the very first one. The flowers aren’t necessarily the ones she will use, however they were the ones available for demo purposes.

SirvTee and I finally bought a proper backdrop and indoor studio lighting! Now my before and afters won’t have the janky garage in the background or the janky garage flourescent overhead lighting hahaha.
Chava was great enough to come over and test it out with us.
As you can tell by the wrinkles on the sheets, we hung them straight out of the package it came in hahaha. We were eager to test them out. We’re still fiddling around with lighting, set up and settings, but I must say… it looks so much better than before, that’s for sure =)
